This 10-hour OSHA outreach training is intended to provide instruction on a variety of general industry safety and health hazards to entry-level workers.
OSHA recommends this volunteer outreach training as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1910. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of the job.
This training is conducted on two separate days per OSHA training guidelines.
Mandatory Topics (6 hours):
Introduction to OSHA (1 hr.)
Walking and Working Surfaces, w/ Fall Protection (1 hr.)
Exit Routes, EAP’s, Fire Protection (1 hr.)
Electrical (1 hr.)
Personal Protective Equipment (1 hr.)
Hazard Communication (1 hr.)
Elective Topics (4 hours):
Ergonomics (2 hrs.)
Safety and Health Program (2 hrs.)
STUDENTS RECEIVE: Student manual and access to online Student Profile Page to view/download E-Certificate and training activity. Department of Labor (DOL) cards will be mailed to each student. Card processing may take up to 2-4 weeks.
