Course Description
All workers who install, maintain or just work near energized electrical parts require Qualified Electrical Worker Certification Training. This course meets OSHA training requirements under 29 CFR 1910.332 for safety-related work practices. This course also covers the latest changes to the NFPA 70E Standard (2021 Edition).
Course Introduction

This course reviews electrical systems or equipment operating at or intended to operate at a sustained voltage of 600 volts or less. Students will demonstrate knowledge of potential hazards associated with electrical equipment in the workplace and how to minimize or eliminate those hazards. The student will learn how to recognize the dangers of electricity, possible electrical injuries, and how to use standard hazard controls. This course also covers the latest updates to the NFPA 70E Standard. This course is presented at the Qualified Person level and by our electrical safety expert/CSP.
