At ehsInc, safety is more than a service—it’s our purpose. Since 1997, we’ve partnered with over 3,000 organizations, delivering impactful solutions and building lasting relationships across industries. But our commitment goes far beyond the workplace.
Rooted in a deeply personal origin, our mission has always been clear: ensure every employee returns home safely after every shift. That same passion drives our outreach efforts through ehsInc Cares—giving back to the communities we serve, supporting meaningful causes, and making a positive difference where it matters most.
Because safety doesn’t stop at the jobsite—it starts with people.
We’re proud to support the Santa Ana River Basin Section and the Orange County Sanitation District in their coastal cleanup efforts, helping preserve the natural beauty of Huntington Beach. Together, we’re making a lasting impact by protecting our shoreline and keeping our communities clean for future generations.
We created a Veterans Program specifically for Veterans seeking a profession in the Construction industry. Through this program we offer educational resources in safety training at no cost.
ehsInc President Marjorie Del Toro takes great pride in this program as her son served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Her philosophy is “You defended our country at all costs, the least we can do is get you trained at no cost.”
Established in 1973, Young Community Developers, Inc. (YCD) is a 501c(3) community based organization that provides a variety of training and support opportunities for residents of the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco. Each year, roughly 1800 individuals receive employment and training related services through YCD. The targeted population is among the hardest to serve.
Since 2012, ehsInc has been YCD’s training service provider. Covering topics such as Asbestos, HAZWOPER, Confined Space, Mold, Lead, and CPR/First Aid, preparing at risk students for a career in construction.
ehsInc CEO/President Marjorie Del Toro returned to her roots with a meaningful visit to her alma mater, South Gate High School. Raised in a low-income community, her journey is a powerful example of resilience, determination, and the impact of believing in one’s potential.
Invited back as a guest speaker, Ms. Del Toro shared her personal story—highlighting the challenges she faced, the lessons she learned, and the pivotal moments that shaped her path to becoming a successful business leader. Her message to students focused on the limitless possibilities available to them, regardless of their starting point.
Through her talk, she emphasized the importance of hard work, perseverance, and taking initiative. She encouraged students to explore entrepreneurship, develop leadership skills, and recognize that their circumstances do not define their future. By connecting her real-world experiences to their everyday lives, she inspired students to think bigger, aim higher, and take the first steps toward achieving their goals.
This visit reflects ehsInc’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community—empowering the next generation with the knowledge, confidence, and motivation to build a brighter future.
Through a strategic partnership with UC San Diego Extended Studies and the AGC Construction Education Foundation, ehsInc proudly offers the ehsInc Cares Scholarship to support students pursuing a career in safety.
This scholarship reflects ehsInc’s commitment to strengthening the future of the industry by removing barriers to education and creating opportunities for emerging professionals. By investing in students who are passionate about protecting people, workplaces, and communities, we are helping build a stronger, safer workforce across Southern California.
The ehsInc Cares Scholarship is more than financial assistance—it represents a long-term investment in the development of the next generation of safety leaders. Through this initiative, recipients gain access to valuable educational resources, industry knowledge, and pathways that prepare them to make a meaningful impact in the field of environmental health and safety.
By empowering students today, ehsInc continues its mission of creating safer workplaces tomorrow.
We are grateful for the opportunity to give back by helping feed children in Malawi. Through our outreach efforts, we have proudly contributed to the preparation of over 50,000 meals, helping support more than 300,000 children in need.
This initiative reflects our deep commitment to making a meaningful difference beyond the workplace—extending care, compassion, and support to communities around the world.
ehsInc CEO/President Marjorie Del Toro proudly supports our nation’s service members through her involvement with the Operation Birthday Hug community. As part of this meaningful initiative, she joins fellow military families in sending birthday and Christmas cards to active-duty men and women serving our country.
Through this simple yet powerful act of kindness, she helps ensure that those who serve feel remembered, appreciated, and connected—no matter where they are stationed. This effort reflects a deep respect for our military and a heartfelt commitment to giving back to those who sacrifice so much.
ehsInc is honored to support our nation’s heroes by helping serve over 500 United States Marine Corps members during the holidays and Fourth of July. These special annual events are organized in partnership with the So-Cal Marine Moms, a dedicated community committed to caring for our Marines.
Through this effort, we provide holiday pies and home-style touches that bring comfort and a sense of family to young service members who may be far from home. It’s a simple but meaningful way to say “thank you” while offering the warmth and support of a second family during times when many feel the weight of being away from loved ones.
God bless and Godspeed to these brave men and women—we are proud to stand behind you and remind you that you are never alone.
ehsInc is proud to support our local athletes and invest in the next generation of talent. When a dedicated travel ball player reached out for help funding his trip to Cooperstown, we saw an opportunity to do something special.
We offered to cover his entire registration fee with one fun condition: he had to hit a home run for us.
Moments like these are what community is all about—encouraging young athletes to dream big, work hard, and enjoy the journey along the way.
ehsInc sponsored a local baseball program by purchasing a field banner to show our ongoing support for youth athletics and community development. While it may seem like a simple gesture, we know that visible community support plays an important role in helping programs thrive.
Youth baseball teaches far more than just the fundamentals of the game. It builds discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience—values that carry far beyond the diamond. By supporting these programs, we aim to reinforce those lessons and encourage young athletes to continue pursuing their goals with confidence and dedication.
We are proud to be part of a community that values its youth and invests in their future. We look forward to continuing our support for programs that make a lasting impact—one player, one team, and one season at a time.
