OSHA IS FOCUSING THEIR EFFORTS ON TRENCHING & EXCAVATION
Due to a recent spike in trenching fatalities, OSHA has revised their National Emphasis Program to identify and reduce hazards associated to trenching and excavation activity.
Consequently, OSHA has launched an outreach campaign shedding light on worker safety awareness.
- SLOPE or bench trench walls
- SHORE trench walls with supports, or
- SHIELD trench walls with trench boxes
