Many assume the objective of a fit test is face piece sizing. Although this is a very important element of fit testing, the primary reason to fit test an individual is to verify that he or she has been trained to wear a respirator and has, in fact, learned how to put on the face piece correctly. If a person does not know how to use the equipment, the respirator will be less effective, regardless of whether or not it is the right size.
This course covers tight-fitting filtering facepiece respirator masks (N95) and elastomeric half mask respirators. We use the Bitrex Qualitative Fit Test (QLFT) Method. QLFT is not recommended for elastomeric full facepiece respirator masks.
This virtual train-the-trainer (TTT) course is designed for workers responsible for the upkeep and implementation of their employer’s Respiratory Protection Safety Written Program and/or who are deemed competent by their employer to perform QLFT for employees required to wear respirators at the workplace.

BITREX QLFT KIT NOT INCLUDED: This type of fit test kit is not required, however we recommend having one available for this training. We will be using the equipment for demonstration and assessments. If you don’t own one, you can order one through our partner Aramsco Click here.
Important notes: This registration form is for one training date only. If you need to register additional students for a different training date, please submit a new registration form for each additional date. Registration does not guarantee a seat.
Payments are non-refundable. Registration fees are non-refundable unless the course is canceled by ehsInc.
Registration transfers are permitted. If a registered student is unable to attend, their seat may be transferred to another individual from the same organization at no additional cost, provided notification is received prior to the course start date.
Courtesy reschedule. Each registration is eligible for one (1) courtesy reschedule to another available course date if requested prior to the scheduled class. Any additional reschedule requests may be subject to administrative fees or require a new registration.
Payment terms: Our accounting team will email the scheduling contact an invoice upon receipt of your registration form. Payment must be made prior to the training date.
Registration confirmation: Upon receipt of payment, the scheduling contact and registered student(s) will receive a confirmation email with course details.
No-shows. Participants who fail to attend without prior notice forfeit their registration fee and are not eligible for a refund or courtesy reschedule.
