This course is intended to provide instruction on a variety of construction industry safety and health hazards in accordance with New York City Building Code 3321 Construction Site Safety Training Requirements.
The OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry, specifically geared for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors. This training program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues.
This training is conducted on four (4) separate days per OSHA training guidelines.
Mandatory Topics (15 hours): Introduction to OSHA (2 Hours); Managing Safety and Health (2 Hours); OSHA Focus Four Hazards (6 Hours); Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment (2 Hours); Health Hazards in Construction (2 Hours); Stairways and Ladders (1 Hour)
Elective Topics (12 hours - 30 min. minimum on at least six topics): Concrete and Masonry Construction; Confined Space Entry; Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elevators, & Conveyors; Ergonomics; Excavations; Fire Protection and Prevention; Materials Handling, Storage, Use and Disposal; Motor Vehicles, Mechanized Equipment and Marine Operations; Rollover Protective Structures and Overhead Protection; Powered Industrial Vehicles; Safety and Health Programs; Scaffolds; Steel Erection; Tools – Hand and Power; Welding and Cutting; Foundation for Safety Leadership (Minimum 2.5 hours).
Optional (3 hours): We can teach on other construction industry hazards (topics) or policies and/or expand on the mandatory or elective topics. The minimum length of any topic is 30 min.

ehsInc reserves the right to cancel or move this class to another date if the enrolled minimum number of students is not met. ehsInc will make every effort to give a minimum of a 1-week notice of any changes. You may send a substitute on your behalf if you are unable to attend. No-shows are nonrefundable and are responsible for payment in full. Cancellations less than 5 business days prior to event will result in a charge equal to 50% of total billed amount per class to offset costs and time associated with the project; unless otherwise contracted in writing. Should any equipment be damaged in the process of or as a result of the training event, the company will be responsible for replacing the equipment at full value. Since ehsInc has no control over the actions of company personnel, ehsInc disclaims any liability, loss injury or damage as a result of applying guidelines of training in any specific personnel situation.
