Chemical & Physical Properties of Hazardous Materials; Fire Chemistry; Fire Protection; Hazardous Materials Recognition & Identification Systems; Toxicology; Ionizing Radiation; Medical Surveillance; Haz Mat Sanitation & Hygiene; Drench Showers & Eyewash Fountains; Using the NIOSH Pocket Guide to Chemical Hazards and ERG Emergency Response Guidebook.
PPE Regulations; Chemical Protective Clothing; Respiratory Protection; Levels of Protection; Site Control & Decontamination; Spill Response Control & Containment; Emergency Response (First Responder Awareness Level).
Trenching & Shoring; Permit Required Confined Space Entry; Drum Handling; Site Characterization & Analysis; Air Monitoring & the
Use of Direct Reading Instruments; Site Planning & Organization; Hypothetical Hazardous Waste Site Tabletop Exercise.
Respirator Care & Cleaning; Donning, Doffing & Taping; Dress Out – Drum Handling & Decon Exercise; Final Exam
Course requires successful passing of written examination. Certificate of Completion and wallet card will be issued.
Students will receive a Student Manual, Handouts, an Emergency Response Guidebook and NIOSH Pocket Guide.
If you are required to wear a respirator and have not been fit tested, please bring your completed medical clearance form,
respirator(s) and be clean shaven on day 5 of this training program. It is also recommended that the student bring their respirator(s)
on the final day for inspection and hands-on exercises.

You may send a substitute on your behalf if you are unable to attend. No-shows are nonrefundable and are responsible for payment in full. Cancellations less than 5 business days prior to event will result in a charge equal to 50% of total billed amount per class to offset costs and time associated with the project; unless otherwise contracted in writing. Should any equipment be damaged in the process of or as a result of the training event, the company will be responsible for replacing the equipment at full value. Since ehsInc has no control over the actions of company personnel, ehsInc disclaims any liability, loss injury or damage as a result of applying guidelines of training in any specific personnel situation.
