This course consists of Circles of Care Concept, SETUP and Barriers, Initial Assessment, Rescue Breathing, One Rescuer CPR, Airway Obstruction (Choking), Control of Bleeding, Managing Shock, Ongoing Assessment, Warning Signs of Medical Illness, Breathing Difficulty, Chest Pain, Abdominal Pain, Levels of Responsiveness, Mechanism of Injury, Head, Neck and Back, Strains, Sprains and Fractures, Moving Patients.
This course emphasizes emergency care skills, which allows the lay person rescuer to function with a consistent set of priorities to identify and manage life-threatening emergencies. Students learn the same priorities of care used by professional emergency care providers.

You may send a substitute on your behalf if you are unable to attend. No-shows are nonrefundable and are responsible for payment in full. Cancellations less than 5 business days prior to event will result in a charge equal to 50% of total billed amount per class to offset costs and time associated with the project; unless otherwise contracted in writing. Should any equipment be damaged in the process of or as a result of the training event, the company will be responsible for replacing the equipment at full value. Since ehsInc has no control over the actions of company personnel, ehsInc disclaims any liability, loss injury or damage as a result of applying guidelines of training in any specific personnel situation.
