Train employees on heat stress prevention and local policy for emergency response
Drink at least 1 quart of water per hour when working directly under the sun. This equates to 8 ounces per every 15 minutes
Rest in Shade
Shade is required in temps over 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Encourage cool-down rest breaks
Follow your Heat Stress Prevention written program. Work around the peak hours of 10am - 2pm
